Australia Beat India in the Series Decider 3rd ODI. Australia won the match by 21 runs. In the first ODI match of Ind vs Aus, India won Aus by 5 wickets. And in the second ODI, Australia shows domination by winning the game by 10 wickets in just 11 overs.
The third ODI was played on Wed, March 22 at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. Australia won the toss and elected to bat first. Australia was all out at 269 runs. Surprisingly, no batters scored a single half-century in the inning. In the chase, India all out at 248 runs and Australia won the match by 21 runs.
First Inning: Without a single half-century Australia set a target of 270 runs.
Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh opened the inning for Australia. Both batters gave a good start to Australia. For the first wicket, they had a partnership of 68 runs. Head got out in the 11th over, after scoring 33 runs for the team. Australia lost their second wicket just after the first wicket. Captain Smith had gone for a duck in the 13th over. After Smith, Hardik Pandya bowled Marsh. Marsh missed a half-century and got out after scoring 47 runs. After Marsh was out, Australia was 85/3 at 14.3 overs. Hardik Pandya completed his 3 wickets haul by sending the top 3 batsmen to the pavilion.
For the fourth wicket, David Warner and Marnus Labuschange made a partnership of 40 runs. Warner was caught out in the 25th over of the inning after scoring 23 runs. In the 29th over, Labuschange also caught out. Kuldeep Yadav sent both Warner and Labuschange to the pavilion. After Labuschange was out, Australia was 138/5 at 28.1 overs. For the sixth wicket, Alex Carey and Marcus Stoinis had 58 runs partnership. Stoinis got out by Axar Patel in the 37th over. He scored 25 runs for the team. Just after Stoinis, Carey was also bowled by Kuldeep after scoring 38 runs. After the 7th wicket, Australia was 203 at 38.1 overs.
Axar bowled S. Abott in the 45th over after scoring 26 runs. Just after Abbott, Aston Agar was also out. After the 9th wicket, Australia was 247 at 45.3 overs. For the last wicket, Starc and Zampa had a partnership of 22 runs. Starc was out by Shiraj and Zampa was not outs at 10 runs. After losing all wickets Australia made 269 runs. For India, Hardik and Kuldeep took 3-3 wickets while Axar and Shiraj got 2-2 wickets each.
Second Inning: Australia Beat India
For India, Captain Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill also gave a good start. India lost their first wicket in 65 runs in the 10th over as R. Sharma. He scored fast 30 runs in 17 balls and was out by S. Abbott. Shubman Gill also departs in the 13th over. He scored 37 runs for the team and lbw by Zampa. Virat Kohli and KL Rahul had a partnership of 69 runs for 3rd wicket. After scoring 32 runs KL Rahul departs. Axar Patel was promoted to no.5 but he couldn’t do anything. Captain Smith sent Axar to the pavilion by a beautiful run-out. After Patel departs, India was 151/4 at 28.5 overs. Virat Kohli scored an under-pressure half-century for the team. He scored 54 runs and was out in the 36th over.
Again, Suryakumar Yadav was out for a golden duck. Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja tried to save India but they couldn’t do it. Hardik scored 40 runs and Jadeja scored 18 runs. Adam Zampa sent both batters back to the pavilion. At 45.1 overs, India was 225/8. The remaining players couldn’t do anything special. Shami scored 14 and out in the ball of Stoinis. Kuldeep was run-out by Stoinis in the last over and India all-out at 248 runs. Md. Shiraj was not out at 3 runs.
For Australia, Adam Zampa took 4 wickets. Aston Agar got 2 wickets while Abbott and Stoinis both sent 1-1 batsman to the pavilion.

Suryakumar Yadav did not score even a single run in all 3 matches of the ODI series. In every match, he got out in the first ball. He becomes the 1st batter to be a golden duck in every match of the ODI series. In the both first and second ODI, Starc lbw Surya and in the third ODI, bowled by Aston Agar.
