CSK vs LSG IPL 2023: In the 6th match of IPL 2023, CSK defeated LSG by 12 runs. The match was played on April 3 at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai. LSG captain KL Rahul won the toss and opted to bowl first. Moeen Ali became the Player of The Match for his all-round performance.

Ruturaj and Conway give an excellent start for CSK. After the first powerplay, CSK was 79 runs without any loss. In the 10th over, Ruturaj Gaikwad got out after scoring 57 runs. After Rutu, Conway also got out after scoring 47 runs for the team. Then, Dube scored 27 runs, Moeen scored 19 runs, Rayudu scored 27 not out and Captain Dhoni hits 2 sixes for CSK. 2nd Inning CSK vs LSG IPL 2023: CSK won by 12 runs

Kyle Mayers and Captain Rahul opened the inning for LSG. Mayers gives a very good start for LSG. He scored 53 runs in 22 balls. Moeen Ali sent him back to the Pavilion. After the first powerplay, LSG was in 80 runs with a loss of 1 wicket. D Hooda and Krunal Pandya couldn’t do much for the team. Rahul also departs after scoring 20 runs.

Marcus Stoinis scored 19 runs then Moeen Ali sent him back to the pavilion. N Pooran hit 3 sixes and 2 fours then Tushar Deshpande got his wicket. He scored 32 runs for the team. At last Ayush Badoni and K Gowtham tried to win the match for the team but Chennai’s bowlers didn’t let them do so. Badoni scored 23 runs and Gowtham also scored 17 runs for LSG. Mark Wood hit 2 boundaries but couldn’t secure the team win. LSG only reached up to 205 runs with the loss of 7 wickets and CSK won the match by 12 runs.

For CSK, Moeen Ali took 4 big wickets. Tushar Deshpande picked up 2 wickets while Santner also got 1 wicket.
