Aston Villa have secured the return of highly-rated winger Jaden Philogene from Hull City. The 22-year-old academy graduate impressed during a loan spell with the Tigers, earning a recall to his parent club.
Philogene’s journey has seen him rise through the Villa ranks, making his senior debut in 2021 before gaining valuable experience with loan spells at Stoke City and Cardiff City. His performances on Villa’s pre-season tour last summer caught the eye of manager Unai Emery, paving the way for his return.
The young forward excelled in the Championship, showcasing his talent with 12 goals for Hull City. His impressive form and potential have convinced Emery to bring him back to Villa Park.
“I’m thrilled to be back home,” Philogene said. “The manager has been really supportive, and I’m excited about the opportunity to play for Aston Villa. I want to bring my game to the Premier League and make a real impact.”
With his pace, skill, and eye for goal, Philogene is expected to add a new dimension to Villa’s attacking options.
