KKR vs RCB IPL 2023: KKR defeated RCB by a big margin of 81 runs. The match was played on April 6 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and opted to bowl first. KKR set a big total of 204 runs and in the chase, RCB was all out in 123 runs. Shardul Thakur became the Player of the Match for his all-around performance.

For Kolkata, Gurbaj made a half-century. He scored 57 runs for the team. Venkatesh Iyer, Mandeep, Captain Nitish, and Russel couldn’t do anything for the team with the bat. Kolkata lost their 5 wickets in 89 runs. Shardul Thakur played brilliantly and scored 68 runs in 29 balls. Rinku Singh also scored 46 runs and helped the team to set a target of 205 runs. For RCB, Willey and Karn Sharma both took 2-2 wickets. Siraj, Bracewell, and Harshal also got 1-1 wickets each.

KKR vs RCB IPL 2023- Second Inning: KKR Spinners Dominated

RCB batters flopped to show their game. Virat and Faf had a good start but didn’t keep it continuing. RCB lost their first wicket as Virat Kohli in 44 runs. Just in another over Faf also lost his wicket. Virat scored 21 runs whereas Faf scored 23 runs. Bracewell also played some balls but was also out after scoring 19 runs. RCB’s wickets fell continuously. Maxwell, Shahbaz, Anuj Rawat, and Harshal couldn’t do anything for the team. At last, David Willey scored 20 runs not out and Akash Deep scored 17 runs. In the 4th ball of the 18th over Akash Deep c & b by Varun Chakaravarthy and RCB were all out in 123 runs.

For KKR, spinners bowled very brilliantly. Chakaravarthy picked up 4 wickets in the match. Debutant Suyash Sharma took 3 wickets while Sunil Narine took 2 wickets. Shardul Thakur also got 1 wicket for KKR.
