MI vs CSK 1st Inning: Mumbai made a fighting total of 157 runs

MI vs CSK 1st Inning, MI set a target of 158 runs in the 12th match of IPL 2023. The match is currently playing in Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. CSK won the toss and decided to bowl first.

MI batting: A decent total of Mumbai

Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan had a decent start for Mumbai Indians. Captain Rohit scored 21 runs then Tushar Deshpande sent him pavilion in the 4th over. In the 7th over Ishan Kishan also got out by Jadeja. He scored 32 runs for the team. Suryakumar walks in to bat but Santner sent him back immediately. Cameron Green played some balls and also got out after scoring 12 runs.

Arshad Khan came to bat at No.6 and Santner took his wicket. Tilak Verma spent some time in the crease and made 22 runs but Ravindra Jadeja again strikes and sent him back to the pavilion. Tristan Stubbs also couldn’t score much for the team. Sisanda Magala took his maiden wicket in IPL by sending Stubbs back.

Tim David also spent some time on crease and hit some boundaries. Tushar Deshpande took David’s wicket. David scored 31 runs for Mumbai. At last, Hrithik Shokeen scored 16 runs not out and Chawla scored 5 runs not out by which MI set a total of 157 runs.

CSK bowling: CSK bowlers did well

Ravindra Jadeja showed his excellence in bowling. He took 3 wickets and conceded only 20 runs. Mitchell Santner and Tushar Deshpande also took 2-2 wickets. Debutant Magala also got 1 wicket. Deepak Chahar and Dwaine Pretorious remained wicketless.
