1st Innings: DC’s Struggles
David Warner and Prithvi Shaw opened the inning for Delhi Capitals. Shaw scored 15 runs before being dismissed by Hrithik Shokeen. Manish Pandey made a quick 26 runs in 18 balls before being sent back by Piyush Chawla. DC’s score was 76 runs with a loss of 2 wickets in 8.3 overs.
Yash Dhull and Rovman Powell were dismissed for 2 and 4 runs, respectively. Warner anchored the inning, but wickets kept falling on the other end. Lalit Yadav also scored only 2 runs before being dismissed by Chawla. Axar Patel scored 54 runs in just 25 balls, hitting four fours and five sixes. DC lost their last four wickets in the 19th over, setting a total of 172 runs.
2nd Innings:
In the second innings, Mumbai Indians came out to chase the target of 173 runs set by Delhi Capitals. Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan opened the batting for MI. Mukesh Kumar was the first bowler for Delhi Capitals.
MI started their innings with an attacking approach and managed to score 68 runs at the end of the powerplay. Rohit Sharma was leading the charge, scoring 37 runs in just 17 balls, while Ishan Kishan was supporting him from the other end with 30 runs off 19 balls.
However, in the 3rd ball of the 8th over, Ishan Kishan got run out after scoring 31 runs in 26 balls. MI continued to score runs, and at the end of the 10th over, their score was 91 runs for the loss of one wicket.
Tilak Varma came in at number 3 for MI and played a useful knock of 41 runs off 29 balls, hitting three consecutive boundaries in the 16th over before getting caught out. Suryakumar Yadav came in at number 4, but unfortunately, he could not score any runs and was out for a golden duck.
Tim David came in at number 5, but Rohit Sharma, who had completed his half-century in the first ball of the 12th over, was also dismissed soon after scoring 65 runs off 45 balls.
Cameron Green came in at number 6, and both he and Tim David played some useful shots to keep MI in the game. MI needed just 5 runs off the last over. On the last ball of the match, MI runs for 2 to win the match against DC.

Despite some early struggles, Axar Patel’s half-century helped DC set a total of 172 runs. In response, MI started their innings aggressively, with Rohit Sharma leading the charge and eventually scoring 65 runs.
Although, there were many turns in the game, at last MI won the match by 6 wickets against Delhi Capitals.
