Namibia Defeated Nepal Again in the Tri-Series of the CWC League 2

In the match, Namibia won the toss and elected to bowl first. Nepal all out in 168 runs and then Namibia chased the target with a loss of 8 wickets. As a result, Namibia Defeated Nepal Again in the Tri-Series of the CWC League 2.

Namibia Defeated Nepal Again in the Tri-Series

The Nepal vs Namibia match was played at the TU Cricket Ground, Kirtipur. Namibia Defeated Nepal Again in the Tri-series by 2 wickets. The poor batting in the first inning continued in the series and Nepal could only make 168 runs. Namibia chased the target with many twists and turns and won the match by 2 wickets. Now, Nepal has only one win in the series whereas Namibia is at the top with two wins.

Nepal all out with a low score of 168 runs

Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh opened for Nepal. Bhurtel made only 18 runs, and then B Scholtz took his wicket. In the same over, Anil was also out for a duck. Next batsman Dev Khanal also went back with a duck. Aasif scored 58 runs, and then he was also out. Captain Rohit also out for a duck then Nepal had a score of 110/5 in 23.2 overs.

Kushal Malla scored 36 runs and Bhim Sharki scored 26 runs for the team. DS Airee made 6 runs, Sompal made 4 runs, Karan KC made 12 runs and Lalit remained not out without scoring any runs in the match. As a result, Nepal was all out in 168 runs in 37.1 overs of the inning.

For Namibia, B Scholtz and N Loftie-Eaton picked four wickets each. Erasmus and Brussel also got one wicket each.

Namibia won the match with many twists and turns

On the run chase, two openers JP Kotze and N Davin couldn’t do much for Namibia. Kotze made 3 and Davin made 8 runs for the team. M van Lingen scored 31 runs and Gerhard Erasmus scored 51 runs for Namibia. Frylinck made 4 runs, N Loftie-Eaton made 5 runs and Z Green made 6 runs for the team.

JJ Smit struggled earlier then played beautifully and scored 34 runs not out for the team to win. R Trumpelmann scored 16 runs, and B Scholtz scored 8 runs not out. As a result, they ensured Namibia Defeated Nepal Again in the Tri-Series by 2 wickets.

For Nepal, Bhurtel picked up 3 wickets. Airee, Rohit, Lalit, and Malla also picked up 1 wicket each in the match.
