Nepal lost their first game against Pakistan and the game between India and Pakistan was abandoned due to rain. So both of these team needs a victory to secure the spot in Super 4.

Batting first, Nepal got a good start with the opening partnership between Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh of 65 runs. Kushal Bhurtel scored 38 runs from 25 balls and returned to the pavilion. Multiple catch drop was seen from the Indian fielder at the beginning of the inning. At the end of 10 overs, Nepal was 65 for 0ne wickets down with 9 boundaries total.

Nepal lost its 2nd wicket as Bhim Sharki at the end of the 16th over. He was bowled by Ravindra Jadeja at the score of 7 runs. Another wicket was down as Captain Rohit Kumar Poudel was dismissed as Indian Captain Rohit Sharma caught at slip in the ball of Jadeja. He got out for just 5 runs.

Jadeja took his third wicket as Kushal Malla in the 26th over. At the end of the 25th over Nepal was 109 for 4 wickets down. Aasif Sheikh played his beautiful knock scoring 58 runs. He was caught by Kohli in the ball of Siraj. Gulshan Jha Scored 23 runs from 35 balls and was caught by Ishan Kishan.

Dependra Singh Airee scored a beautiful 25 runs and got lbw out by Hardik Pandya. Sompal Kami scored a much-needed 48 runs from 56 balls and Sandeep Lamichhane scored 9 runs. Siraj Bowled Rajbanshi in the 48.2 over as the 10th wicket for Nepal at the score of 230 runs.
