As Nepal has qualified for Asia Cup by defeating UAE in ACC Men’s Premier Cup 2023. We can see Nepal vs India vs Pakistan in Asia Cup 2023, Pakistan as they are now in the same group. Asia Cup will be played in the ODI format. The 16th edition of the Asia Cup will be played in September 2023. The schedule has not been announced yet.
A total of 6 teams will play in Asia Cup 2023. Teams are divided into two groups, Group 1 includes India, Pakistan, and Nepal (as winner of the qualifier). Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan are in Group 2. This will be the first time in the history of Nepali Cricket that Nepal will be seen playing against these big countries.

Nepal has been Unbeaten throughout the ACC Premier Cup. Nepal defeated Malaysia in the 1st match by 6 wickets. Nepal defeated Oman in the 7th match of the ACC Men’s Premier Cup 2023. The match between Nepal and Saudi Arabia was abandoned due to rain. Nepal reached the Semi-Final as the group leader.
In the first semi-final match played between Nepal and Kuwait, the rain was the barrier so the game ended without a result. As Nepal was ahead of Kuwait in points Nepal reached the final. In the final match, which was played in 2 days because of the rain Nepal made its way to the Asia Cup by defeating UAE by 7 wickets.
Asia Cup Games: Nepal vs India vs Pakistan in Asia Cup 2023
If everything goes well then Asia Cup 2023 is said to be started on 2nd September 2023 when defending Champion Sri Lanka will Afghanistan in the Opening match of the tournament although the date and time have not been confirmed yet. Nepal will face India in the 4th match of the tournament and Pakistan in the 6th match.
This tournament is divided into three stage Group stage, the Super Four, and the Final. The top two teams from both groups will play the matches in Super Four and the Top two teams from Super Four will play the final.
Controversy:
BCCI has been refusing to travel to Pakistan for Asia Cup 2023 mentioning security concerns. And, Pakistan has denied to organize the Asia Cup 2023 in another nutral venue.
