Nepal will play in ICC CWC Qualifiers in June and July of 2023. As per reports, Nepal vs Scotland vs Netherlands in South Africa will be played before the Qualifiers. In an interview, CAN President Mr. Chatur Bahadur Chand spoke about the Nepali cricket team will play matches in South Africa due to similar conditions as Zimbabwe. He also said, the Nepali Cricket team is in the process of getting visas to tour South Africa.
Nepal vs Scotland vs Netherlands in South Africa
It will be a big boost for Nepali Cricket to have matches in South Africa before the CWC Qualifiers. Nepal matches against Scotland and Netherlands are fixed and CAN also preparing for a match against the South Africa A team. The matches will be very helpful to assess the conditions for the Qualifiers. If Nepali players get used to conditions and pitches that will help players to make better strategies.

Preparations for CWC Qualifiers 2023
CWC Qualifiers 2023 will be played in June and July in Zimbabwe. Nepal, Oman, Scotland, Ireland, Netherlands, Sri Lanka, West Indies, Zimbabwe, United Arab Emirates, and the United States will compete with each other to seal the tickets for ICC World Cup 2023 which will be hosted in India. Qualifiers are the biggest opportunity for Nepali cricket and preparations are necessary for the tournament. Playing matches in South Africa against Scotland, Netherlands, and South Africa A will be a great preparation for the Nepali Cricket team.
CAN also approaching Afghanistan for some matches before the Qualifiers. But due to Afghanistan’s busy schedule, Nepal vs Afghanistan matches may not take place.
