Ireland is number 11 and has the probability to directly qualify for the ICC CWC 2023.
The Qualifying Process for ICC Cricket World Cup
By winning a match in the Super League, a team can earn 10 valuable points. South Africa is set to play their last two matches against the Netherlands. South Africa will be playing against the Netherlands on Friday. They will again meet each other in the final match between them on Sunday. Should they emerge victorious in both games, they will secure direct qualification to the World Cup with 98 points. Moreover, Sri Lanka will face New Zealand on Friday. This will be the final match of Srilanka. If they win, they will accumulate 92 points. South Africa has to win at least one match and the final match to qualify for the ICC World Cup 2023. But for West Indies to qualify directly to the ICC CWC, both Srilanka and South Africa have to lose their all remaining matches.
Updated: West Indies and Sri Lanka are out of the race for direct qualifying for Cricket World Cup 2023. They have to play the CWC Qualifier along with Nepal, UAE, USA, and others to qualify for the World Cup.
Ireland or South Africa will qualify directly for the World Cup. Ireland has 3 matches left with Bangladesh and if Ireland can will all those remaining matches then who will qualify for the World Cup will be decided by the Net Run Rate (NRR).

West Indies and Sri Lanka didn’t qualify for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. The last spot remaining will be occupied by South Africa or Ireland. SA already suppressed WI to the 9th position. South Africa with 21 matches played has won 9 matches, 10 lost, 2 draws, and 2 with no results and got 98 points. Whereas, West Indies with played match 24 have 88 points.
