Nepal vs UAE in ACC Premier Cup Final
Nepal defeated UAE by 7 wickets in the final of ACC Premier Cup 2023. The match was played on May 1 and May 2 both days at TU Cricket Ground, Kirtipur. Nepal won the toss and invited UAE to bat first.
UAE made 106 runs with a loss of 9 wickets before rain interrupted the match on May 1. On May 2, UAE lost the last wicket in 117 runs. Nepal chased the target with a loss of 3 wickets and won the final match.
Final match 1st Inning Summary
Asif Khan scored 46 runs for UAE and no other batsmen could score many runs. Aryan Lakra’s 13 runs are the second-highest runs for UAE. UAE was all out in 117 runs.
For, Nepal Lalit picked up 4 wickets. Sandeep and Karan both took 2 wickets for Nepal. Sompal and Gulshan both also got 1 wicket.
Final Match 2nd Inning Summary
Gulshan Jha batted excellently and scored a half-century in the low total run chase. UAE put Nepal under pressure by taking 3 wickets early. But, Gulshan Jha and Bhim Sharki build the partnership and took Nepal toward the win.
Gulshan made 67 runs and Bhim Sharki made 36 runs to win the final match. For UAE, Rohan Mustafa picked up 2 wickets. Aayan Khan also took 1 wicket for UAE.
