First Inning Summary of Nepal vs Oman Practice Match
Kashyap Prajapati and Jatinder Singh opened the inning for Oman. Oman lost their first wicket in 66 runs. Jatinder scored 17 runs then Kishore Mahato took his wicket. Then in 67 runs, Oman lost another wicket as Aqib Ilyas. Pratish GC bowled him for 1 run. Another opener also went pavilion for 42 runs. This time again K Mahato took another wicket for Nepal.
Mohammad Nadeem scored 9, Ayaan Khan scored 7, Adeel Shafique scored 2 and Sandeep Goud scored 3 runs for Oman. Shoaib Khan hold an end and played beautifully but the other end batsman was getting out by Nepali bowlers.
Naseem Khushi scored 23 runs for Oman then K Mahato sent him back to the pavilion. The remaining batter, Fayyaz Butt scored 7 runs and Kaleemullah scored 1 run not out for Oman.
Shoaib Khan remained not out in 89 runs. He played beautifully in the inning and took Oman’s score up to 246 runs after playing all 50 overs.
For Nepal, Kishor Mahato bowled very brilliantly and picked up 3 wickets. He conceded only 19 runs in his 8 overs spell. Pratish GC and Surya Tamang also bowled well and took 2-2 wickets for Nepal. Shyam Dhakal and Kushal Malla also got 1-1 wickets.
Second Inning Summary: Nepal Won the Practice Match Against Oman
For Nepal, Arjun Saud and Dev Khanal opened the inning. Dev Khanal couldn’t do much for the team and was out for 5 runs. After losing the first wicket in 10 runs Nepal lost another wicket in 41 runs. This time Gyanendra Malla went for 15 runs.
Then Captain Rohit joined Arjun Saud in the crease and both batters played beautifully. Both batters had a partnership of 114 runs for the third wicket. Arjun Saud scored 67 runs and was caught out on the ball by Zeeshan Maqsood in the 29th over. Then Nepal was in 155 in 28.4 overs with a loss of 3 wickets.
Rohit Paudel completed his half-century, scored 56 runs then declared himself retired out. He wanted to give chance also to other batsmen to score some runs. Kushal Malla scored 8 runs and he was also got out by Maqsood. Then Nepal was in 209 at 36.4 overs with a loss of 4 wickets.
Dipendra Singh Airee was playing beautifully then Sundeep Jora joined him on the crease. Diperdra Singh Airee completed his half-century and then gave his wicket to Kaleemullah. He scored 59 runs in his inning.
Sundeep Jora and Bhim Sharki finished the match and Nepal won the game by 5 wickets. Sundeep Jora remained not out in 11 runs while Bhim Sharki remained not out in 1 run.
For Oman, Zeeshan Maqsood picked up 2 wickets. Kuleemullah and Fayyaz Butt also took 1-1 wickets.
