Nepal’s Aasif Sheikh Climbs T20I Rankings, Others Hold Steady

Nepal’s Aasif Sheikh has seen a positive change in the latest ICC T20I batting rankings, climbing one spot to 69th place. He now shares the position with Australia’s Matthew Wade, both with 431 points.

Nepal’s captain Rohit Paudel maintains his 61st position, while Dipendra Singh Airee remains at 46th.

India’s Ruturaj Gaikwad makes a significant jump, rising 13 places to claim the 7th position. Australia’s Travis Head holds the top spot, followed by India’s Suryakumar Yadav and England’s Philip Salt.

Nepal’s bowlers see slight drops in their rankings. Dipendra Singh Airee falls three positions to 100th, and Sompal Kami drops two spots to 94th.

Nepal’s all-rounder rankings remain largely unchanged, with Dipendra Singh Airee at 7th, Kushal Malla at 36th, Gulshan Jha at 69th, Kushal Bhurtel at 71st, and Karan KC at 75th. Rohit Paudel slips one place to 55th.

In ODI rankings, Nepal falls two spots to 17th position as of the July 2nd update. Oman sits at 18th, followed by the United States at 19th and the United Arab Emirates at 20th. Canada climbs two places to 15th, while Namibia holds the 16th position.

Nepal maintains its 17th position in the latest T20I team rankings.
