Oman and UAE into the Semi-final of ACC Premier Cup 2023 along with Nepal. Oman defeated Saudi Arabia and UAE defeated Bahrain in their last matches of the league stages. And with those wins, both teams made it to the semi-finals. The fourth semi-finalist is still not decided.
Oman and UAE into the Semi-final of ACC Premier Cup
Oman leading the Group A points table with 6 points and UAE is also leading the Group B points table with 6 points after playing all 4 matches of the league stages. Today on April 26, Oman won against Saudi Arabia by 72 runs and UAE won against Bahrain by 8 wickets.
From Group A, Nepal is already qualified for Semi-final and today Oman also secured their place in the semi-finals. From Group B, UAE is the first team that is confirmed to make it into Semi-finals. And for the last spot, tomorrow Hong Kong and Kuwait will play against each other and the winner will qualify for Semi-final.
The semi-final match fixtures will be decided by the Nepal vs Qatar and Hong Kong vs Kuwait matches which will be played tomorrow April 27. If Nepal will win tomorrow’s match, Nepal will finish at the top of the table of Group A. Also, if Hong Kong wins tomorrow’s match they will also finish at the top of Group B.
