Abdul Waheed and Waqar Ul-Hassan opened the inning for Saudi Arabia. In the first over, Saudi lost their first wicket as Waqar was lbw by Muhammad Wafiq. Imran Arif walked in, made 5 runs, and was also out on the ball by Rizwan Haider.
Rizwan Haider strike again and sent new batsman Saad Khan back to the pavilion for 1 run. Wickets were falling continuously, in just 21 runs, Saudi lost their 3 wickets. Then M Hisham Shaikh joined Abdul Waheed on the crease. Both started to build a partnership for the fourth wicket.
In the 16th over, Anwar Rahman took the wicket of M Shaikh and broke the 40 runs partnership. After the 16th over, Saudi Arabia was in 63 runs with a loss of 4 wickets. Anwar Rahman came into bowling again in the 18th over and sent Abdul Ali back to the pavilion for 5 runs.

Ishtiq Ahmed came in, faced 25 balls, and scored 3 runs then he was also out by Virandeep Singh. For the last wicket, Haseeb Ghafoor and Atif Rehman had a partnership of 44 runs. Ghafoor scored 40 runs in 78 balls with the help of four fours and one six. M Wafiq took his wicket in the 47th over. As a result, Saudi Arabia all out in 153 runs.
