Kathmandu: Sudurpaschim Royals have further strengthened their squad for the upcoming Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2024 by signing experienced New Zealand fast bowler Scott Kuggeleijn.
Kuggeleijn, a seasoned campaigner, has represented New Zealand in all three formats of the game. He has also showcased his skills in the Indian Premier League, playing for the Chennai Super Kings. Known for his fiery pace and ability to swing the ball both ways, Kuggeleijn is expected to be a key asset for the Royals.
Sudurpaschim Royals have already secured the services of Scotland’s Brandon McMullen and England’s Saif Zaib as their overseas players. The team, led by head coach Jagat Tamatta and mentored by Australian cricket legend Brad Hodge, boasts a strong domestic core including marquee player Dipendra Singh Airee.
The Nepal Premier League 2024 is set to commence on November 30th and conclude on December 21st in Kathmandu.
