Semifinals of ACC Men’s Premier Cup 2023
The semifinal matches of the ongoing ACC Men’s Premier Cup 2023 is scheduled to happen on 29th April. There were a total of 10 teams that participated in this tournament. Those 10 teams were divided into 2 groups. Group A consist of Nepal, Oman, Qatar, Malaysia, and Saudi Arabia. Group B consists of UAE, Kuwait, Hong Kong, Bahrain, and Singapore.
Nepal being at the top of Group A progressed to the semifinals followed by Oman. From Group B, UAE and Kuwait reached the semifinals. By the format of this ACC Premier Cup, the winner of each group will have to play with the runner-up of another group in the semifinals. So, Nepal will play against Kuwait, and UAE vs Oman in ACC Premier Cup 2023 Semifinal will be played in another match.

Performance of UAE and Oman in ACC Premier Cup 2023
Both UAE and Oman performed well in the league game of the ongoing ACC Men’s Premier Cup 2023. Both teams got equal points of 6 but UAE reached the semifinal being the group top where as Oman was 2nd from group A.
In the first match of UAE, they won the match against Kuwait by 143 runs huge margin. UAE had given a huge target of 371 runs losing 6 wickets in that game which Kuwait couldn’t chase and got all out scoring just 228 runs. In the 2nd match, although UAE played well they lost against Hong Kong by 67 runs by DLS method. The third game was written in the history of cricket where UAE scored 471 runs. They won that game against Singapore by 201 runs. In the final match of UAE in the league game, UAE won against Bahrain by 8 wickets and qualified for the semifinals.
On the other hand, Oman also started with a win in the ACC Men’s Premier Cup 2023. Oman defeated Qatar in the first game by 40 runs. In the second game, they lost the match against Nepal by 8 wickets. Then they continuously won 2 matches and got into the semifinals. They won the match against Malaysia by 8 wickets and then defeated Saudi Arabia by 72 runs.
