This edition of the Cricket World Cup Qualifier will take place in June and July 2023 in Zimbabwe. It will decide the final two teams to Play the World Cup 2023. The top two teams from this qualifier will make their spot in the world cup. ‘A’ teams from five full members of ACC which include India ‘A’, Pakistan ‘A’, Sri Lanka ‘A’, Afghanistan’ A’, Bangladesh ‘A’, and the top 3 teams from 2023 ACC Men’s Premier Cup; Nepal, UAE, and Oman will be featured in This Tournament. Nepal has qualified in this tournament by winning the ACC Men’s Premier Cup 2023.
Asia Cup 2023:
The 16th edition of Asia Cup 2023 will start in September. This tournament will be played in the ODI format in Pakistan. A total of 6 teams will be featured in this tournament including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Nepal.
Nepal has qualified for this tournament winning the ACC men’s Premier Cup. Nepal is in Group A with India and Pakistan. Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka are in Group B.
ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier 2023
Nepal will be playing Asia region qualifier for the Mens T20 World Cup 2024. In the Asia region, the first stage of the qualification pathway comprises two sub-regional qualifiers. Qualifier A includes Kuwait, Maldives, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. Qualifier B includes Bhutan, China, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Thailand.
The winning team from each sub-regional qualifier will advance to the Asia Regional Final. Here, they will compete against seven other teams, including Nepal, Oman, Bahrain, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates. The top two teams from the Asia Regional Final will advance to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in 2024.
