Kathmandu: Nepal’s women’s cricket team has made a dream start to their Women’s Asia Cup campaign, securing a convincing six-wicket victory over the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Opener Samjhana Khadka stole the show with a blistering knock of 72 runs off just 45 balls, studded with 11 boundaries. Her exceptional innings powered Nepal to chase down the UAE’s target of 116 runs in a comfortable 16.1 overs.
